Four new PI (principal investigator) reports are now available in OVPR's Research Reporting Center (UMN login required), which provides reporting on UMN research measures, such as sponsored awards and research expenditures, as well as custom reports for specific business unit needs. The new PI reports provide additional reporting that is not currently available in UM Analytics (UMN login required).

Awards by EMPLID and Proposals by EMPLID
These reports pull all historical and current award and proposal information for a single EMPLID or a string of EMPLIDs.
Awards by College-Dept Staff
This report looks for staff with active/current job records in the college/departments selected and pulls a list of all awards where staff have an active award or project role.
Proposals by College-Dept Staff
This report identifies staff with active/current job records in the college/departments selected and pulls a list of all proposals on which staff have a role in PeopleSoft (PS).
To access the reports in the Research Reporting Center, navigate from Dynamic Reports -> Grants -> PI Reports.
As a reminder, proposal and award data by administrative unit (without any staff restrictions) can be found in UM Analytics (UMN login required).
Research Reporting and Analytics Network
For more information about this and other research reporting efforts, faculty and staff are invited to join the Research Reporting and Analytics Network. Members will:
- Receive periodic updates on ORIS's reporting projects—currently, quarterly email updates
- Have the opportunity to participate in previewing new data and reports
- Provide input, direction, and assistance with prioritization for future projects
